Sansa Asylum

A wedding magician for Los Angeles cocktail hours and receptions

Two families and two friend groups who have never met, standing around with drinks. Sansa gives them a reason to talk to each other. Mentalism and close-up magic for cocktail hour, table-hopping at dinner, a signature moment with the couple in front of everyone, and she can officiate the ceremony too.

Where magic fits in a wedding day

Cocktail hour

The easiest and most effective slot. Guests are already mingling and the wedding party is off taking photos. Sansa moves group to group so nobody is stuck waiting.

Between courses

Table-hopping during open dining, timed with the catering captain so it never competes with toasts or food service.

A close-up station

The velvet close-up table set up near the bar or lounge, where guests wander over on their own between dancing and dessert.

Three things she can do for the couple

A signature moment

A custom five-to-fifteen-minute piece of magic and mentalism performed with the bride and groom, on stage or in front of the whole crowd. Built around the two of you, not a routine.

Branded playing cards

A deck with your names, your date, or any image you like on the back. Sansa performs with the cards during the reception and guests take one home. She handles the design and manufacturing.

Officiating

Sansa can officiate the ceremony itself. One less vendor, and a wedding where the person who marries you is the same person who reads your guests' minds an hour later.

From couples

“Sansa was FANTASTIC and such a delightful addition to our wedding. The Strolling Magic was such a wonderful component to the evening, and a HUGE hit…”

Brett S.

“…Our guests told us they loved her and we did too. Not only did she perform everything we asked her for, she also went above and beyond with a special trick for us…”

Mike Jett

Practical notes for planners

Strolling magic needs no stage, no sound system, and very little space. The one thing that matters is a noise level where guests can hear normal conversation, so keep the magic away from the band or DJ.

Outdoor ceremonies and receptions are fine. Plan for lighting after sunset and a protected backup spot in case of wind or heat.

Saturday evenings and October through December book early. One to three months ahead is a good starting point; three to six months is safer for peak dates.

To get a quote

Send the date, venue, guest count, the parts of the day you want covered, and whether there's anything you'd like built around the couple. Sansa will recommend a format and send a written quote.

Every event is different. A short conversation is the best place to begin.
